The Mass. Technology Collaborative is seeking applications for its "Small Renewables Initiative. They invite rebate applications of up to $50,000 for design and construction of renewable energy projects that are up to 10 kilowatts in size. North Quincy High School Wins with Solar! Thanks to generous donations from the IBEW Local 103 and the Quincy Rotary Club, North Quincy High School now has 2kW photovoltaic system on the roof. A student project focussed on the system recently won first prize in the category of "Current Issues" at the Massachusetts Envirothon. Click here to learn more. This system which was installed with funding from that National Science Foundation, MIT, and the MTC, will allow students at this Boston Public School in Roxbury to use state-of-the-art technology to learn key principles of Math and Science.
